The 8th season of the Bigg Boss Telegu has officially kickstarted on September 1. Superstar Nagarjuna has returned as a host for the sixth time in a row. The show follows the logo of infinity, citing similarity to the numerical 8. The show will be streamed 24/7 on Disney+ Hotstar. An hour-long episode can be watched on Star Maa. A total of 14 contestants entered the Bigg Boss house on the first day in 7 pairs. The contestants on the first day include Yashmi Gowda, Nikhil Maliyakkal, Abhay Bethiganti, Aditya Om, Sonia Akhula and others. There are not many celebrities, but Shekar Basha and Vishnu Priya Bhimeneni are familiar faces to the audience.
Bigg Boss is synonymous with controversies, fights and drama, which was seen right from the first episode. It has already earned a good screen time and fans are hooked to it already. Now, the first task of the week in the Bigg Boss house has been completed. There were three teams- Nainika Anasuru’s, Yashmi Gowda’s and Nikhil Maliyakkal’s. Yashmi’s team emerged to be the winner. Bigg Boss rewarded the winning team and made Yashmi the Chief and she earned special powers.
Yashmi’s team entered the special room, filled with unlimited drinks and chocolates which brought great joy to the team. Yashmi’s team did not have to do any housework since they won and were asked who should handle the house chores. She assigned the cooking duties to Nikhil’s team, and all the remaining tasks like cleaning the plates, kitchen and bathroom were assigned to Nainika’s team.
Nainika’s team found this to be unfair and got engaged in an argument while Yashmi’s team enjoyed their free time without bothering to clean up their plates and treated Nainika’s team disrespectfully and humiliated them.
Bigg Boss Telugu 8 is telecasted on Star Maa every Monday to Friday at 9:30 pm and on Saturday and Sunday, it is aired at 9 pm. You can watch the show on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar.
