Salman Khan’s family is worried about his safety after the Lawrence Bishnoi gang allegedly fired shots at politician Baba Siddique, leading to his death earlier this month. This is the same gang that allegedly fired shots outside Salman Khan’s residence. In a recent chat, Arbaaz Khan, Salman’s brother, spoke about the family’s concern regarding the superstar’s safety.
“I wouldn’t say we are all okay right now but we are trying to do what we can do the best. We are ensuring that everybody, along with the government and the police, is making sure that things go the way they should, and, he’s (Salman) protected. Everyone is doing their best. We want to stay this way right now,” Arbaaz Khan told Zoom.
“We are doing fine. I wouldn’t say that we are doing absolutely alright because there is a lot happening right now, in the family. Of course, everyone is worried. But I am committed to promoting Bandaa Singh Chaudhary. It’s my film releasing on October 25 and I’ve to make sure that the film also goes out. Yes, there’s a lot happening but I’ve to do what I’ve to do,” he said.
The assassination of Maharashtra’s former minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique sent shockwaves through the nation. While the murder is being investigated, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility in a Facebook post. Amidst this, actor Salman Khan’s security has been beefed up as the authorities sense danger to his life as well. A recent report has revealed that Galaxy Apartments is under heavy security and fans are prohibited from standing outside his house or clicking selfies.
As reported by The Times Of India, Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment in Bandra is seeing an increase in security after Baba Siddique’s death. Police constables have been stationed outside the actor’s house and fans are not allowed to stop outside his house and click selfies or record videos like they used to previously. Along with the fans, security has also revealed that media professionals are not permitted to shoot outside the actor’s house.
The report also mentioned that a CCTV camera has been installed to track movement outside the building. Following the killing of Baba Siddique, the actor has now been provided with Y-plus security. The Mumbai police have assigned an escort vehicle to follow Khan’s car and a Special Reserve Police Force (SRPF) has been stationed on duty outside his house and the Panvel farmhouse.
