'Anxiety, Nervousness And Emotions Like First Time': Actress Hina Khan On Her Second Umrah

TV actress Hina Khan recently performed her second Umrah, a religious pilgrimage to the sacred site of Mecca in Saudi Arabia. In a video, she shared her profound emotions, mentioning that despite it being her second visit, the anxiety, nervousness, and overwhelming emotions mirrored those of her initial pilgrimage.

Wearing a traditional black abaya, Hina Khan shared a video from the holy shrine, expressing the enchanting moment of beholding the majestic Kaaba. Despite it being her second visit, she described the overwhelming emotions, stating, “It was not my first time, but the anxiety, nervousness, and emotions are exactly like the first time. You weep and weep like a little girl. You feel hypnotised, your lips freeze, and you get chills when you look at the majestic Kaaba. This place brings so much peace and calmness in me.”

Hina Khan kept her fans informed by sharing glimpses of her travel experiences on Instagram Stories. She featured images of Safa and Marwa, two small hills in Mecca connected to larger mountains. Emphasising the serenity of the place, she also highlighted the importance of Zamzam, a well located in the area.

Praying at the Mataf area, the actress expressed her happiness at securing a spot in the first row despite the continuous crowd. She noted the challenge of finding space in the busy Mataf area of Haram Sharif, particularly for women. Hina shared, “It is so difficult to find a place in the Mataf area in Haram Sharif to offer Namaz because 24/7 is fully packed and busy. Especially for women. I offered my Salah’s in the first row in Mataf.” This marked her second Umrah, following her initial trip in March 2023, and she kept her followers updated with videos and pictures throughout the spiritual journey.
