Happy anniversary, Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher. The couple have completed 39 years of marriage. And, their story will surely make you believe in a happily ever after. The veteran actor shared a collage of throwback pictures featuring himself and Kirron on Instagram. In his special anniversary post, Anupam Kher has acknowledged his affection for his Kirron and said that they needed to take some new images because he had been sharing nearly old ones for years.
Anupam Kher also wrote a note for Kirron Kher. He said, “Dearest Kirron! Happy 39th anniversary to both of us. We need to take some fresh pics. I have been posting almost the same ones for the last so many years. But I think that is what happens with a marriage that lasts for a long time. Pics can get old but emotions are the same.”
He continued, “May God give you a long and healthy life. May you continue to be the same person that you are. Vibrant and real. Love and prayers always.”
Their son, actor Sikandar Kher, wrote, “Happy anniversary Maa and Dad ! To love”. Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan wished the duo saying, “Kiron & Anupam anniversary greetings & happiness always”. Fans have also shared their warmest greetings. A person wrote, “Happy anniversary to you both.. may God shower you both with happiness and all his blessings love you both.”
Another said, “Happy Happy beautiful to the most amazing people in our family…God bless you both with happiness forever.”
Reportedly, Kirron Kher met Anupam Kher in 1974 in the Department of Indian Theatre at Punjab University. Later, they became friends and eventually fell in love. The duo got married in 1985.
Anupam Kher will appear in Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency, which will open in theatres on September 6. Recently, Tanvi: The Great which is being directed by Anupam Kher has also gone on floors. Meanwhile, Kirron Kher was last seen as a judge on India’s Got Talent.
