Alia Bhatt Gives Hilarious Response to a Fan Who Asked If He Could Call Her 'Alia Kapoor'

Recently, Alia Bhatt's father, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt spilled the beans on her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor. Confirming that they are indeed together, Bhatt told The Telegraph, "Well, of course they're in love. You don't need to be a genius to get that!"

Alia too seemingly confirmed that she's dating Ranbir on the first episode of Koffee With Karan season 6. Although she kept ignoring the relationship question, show's host Karan Johar took it upon himself to announce that she was officially in a relationship with the Sanju star.

So during a Q&A session on Twitter when a fan, named Himanshu Kakani, asked Alia if he could call her 'Alia Kapoor', the actress quipped, "Can I call you Himanshu Bhatt?"

Alia and Ranbir fuelled romance rumours after they arrived together at Sonam Kapoor's wedding reception in May this year. The two are collaborating for the first time with Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra, which also stars Amitabh Bachhcan.

It is believed that the two bonded with each other while shooting Ayan Mukerji's film. The two have also been meeting each other’s family for quite some time now. On Ranbir's birthday, Alia's mother Soni Razdan joined Neetu and other members of the Kapoor family for the celebrations.

Ranbir had talked about his relationship with Alia in an interview with GQ. He said, "It’s really new right now, and I don’t want to over speak. It needs time to breathe and it needs space. As an actor, as a person, Alia is – what’s the right word? – flowing right now. It’s new for us, so let it cook a bit."
