YC workers remove CMs posters

KANNUR: The flex-board incident involving the Kerala Police Association and the supporters of Congress leader K Sudhakaran MP took a turn for the worse on Monday evening, with a group of Youth Congress workers removing the flex boards hailing Chief Minister Oommen Chandy put up on the premises of the Collectorate here.The flex boards and banners were placed in front of the Collectorate during the Mass Contact Programme of the Chief Minister held recently here. Various organisations including the NGO Association and the Youth Congress had put up posters greeting the Chief Minister on the premises of the Collectorate during the  Mass Contact Programme.The posters put up by the associations including the one hoisted by the NGO Association were removed and thrown away by a group of irate Youth Congress workers on Monday evening.The poster issue which led to the revival of group-fight in the Congress took the form of a direct fight between K Sudhakaran MP and Chief Minister Oommen Chandy following the developments on Monday.Meanwhile, Youth Congress leader Muhammed Blathur, said the YC hadn’t taken any decision to remove the posters.
