Filmmaker Bryan Singer had a treat up his sleeve for the fans of the X-Men franchise on Tuesday. He uploaded a glimpse from the treatment of the latest edition of the series on Instagram.
A treatment is a document put together before the actual script is written.
The script page teases Apocalypse's Four Horsemen, which are supposed to represent death, famine, war and pestilence, in a rotating cast.
While most fans were already speculating about the existence of The Four Horsemen, after watching the end credits of the film 'X-Men: Days of the Future Past', Singer's post confirmed the news.
'X-Men: Apocalypse' is scheduled for a May 27, 2016 release. The film will star Jennifer Lawrence, Channing Tatum, Michael Fassbender, Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Evan Peters, Nicholas Hoult
Bryan Singer, Michael Dougherty, Dan Harris and Simon Kinberg are writing the script, while Simon Kinberg and Lauren Shuler Donner will be producers along with Bryan Singer. Singer will also be the executive producer as well as the director of the film.
