The syllabus of six vocational courses was translated into English and uploaded on the official website, Education Minister Daljit Singh Cheema said.

Chandigarh: Punjab Government has decided to substitute the medium of instruction for teaching vocational course in the state with Punjabi.

The syllabus of six vocational courses, recently started by the education department, was translated into English and uploaded on the official website, Education Minister Daljit Singh Cheema said in a statement on Sunday.

But, in the face of difficulties being faced by the students of rural background, the courses in security, IT, automobile, health care, beauty and wellness and retail would be taught in Punjabi, he said.
