Vivah is all set for a worldwide release not just in a theatre near you but also on your personal computer.

New Delhi: It's movie viewing with a twist. Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya's latest offering at the box office Vivah is all ready for a worldwide release not just in a theatre near you but also on your personal computer.

Rajshri Media Limited, the digital entertainment arm of the group, will make the film available for online viewing at www.rajshri.com the same day and time of it's theatrical release.

"Small pockets are opening up essentially because of its mainstream audience and not Indian population. Germany as a destination is the next biggest thing,” MD, Rajshri Media (P) Limited, Rajjat A Barjatya said.

The website also offers free streaming of music videos and download-to-rent at $9.99 from 12 noon on November 10 with a limited 72-hour license.

The film will also be available with English subtitles and in a Telugu version.

The movie clip once downloaded will be available on your computer for 72 hours only - after which the file itself gets corrupted.

A built-in copyright software program built by Microsoft called Digital Rights Management on the portal does not allow multiple copies to be made and keeps the content safe from piracy.

And the icing on the cake are all the other free downloads available on the site, so if you're a SRK fan and want to watch Main Hoon Don, remember it's just a click away and that, too, for free.

Free videos are available for over 300 new and classic movies, music videos, concerts and documentaries. The second phase of the media enterprise promises to integrate this experience to mobile phones, Ipods and other digital devices also.

What's your reaction?
