Two children die, two injured as house collapses

Two children died and two others were injured when a newly built house collapsed at Giddha village under Alauli police station in Bihar's Khagaria district on Wednesday. The victims were inside the house when it collapsed, police said.

The house collapsed under the affect of sudden storm and the matter is being investigated find out whether flawed design or adulterated construction material led to the incident, they said.

The bodies of the two deceased - eight-year-old Chhotu and nine-year old Pandav were recovered from the debris and sent to the government hospital for postmortem. The injured children have been admitted in  hospital for treatment.
