Three die, eight injured in road accident

Three persons were on Saturday killed and eight others got injured when a state roadways bus in which they were going rammed into a stationary truck on the national highway-24 under Sidhauli police station, police said.

The bus, belonging to Azamgarh Depot, was on its way to Azamgarh from Delhi when it rammed into the truck from behind killing three persons on the spot.

Of the eight injured, three who were critical have been referred to Trauma Centre Lucknow, police said adding that the efforts were on to identify the deceased.
