The Best Laid Plans
I took my board exams very seriousness, as I believed that it would decide the rest of my life. I knew that just one year of sacrifice would help me come out with flying colours.
Study Strategy
During my study holidays, I would wake up at 4 am and study for two to three hours, at a stretch. Then I usually took a small break and then a walk, to de-stress. After that I would again get back to studying.
I used to study for 12 to 14 hours in a day. I preferred early morning study to late nights. I felt fresher in the mornings and could concentrate better.
Singing My Stress Out
During my free time, I would go out for movies with my friends. I also liked singing and painting. I have been learning music for two years now and it really helps me to de-stress.
I got lot of support from my parents. My mother even took a one month leave and was with me the entire time. It is only because of their constant motivation that I could turn my childhood dream of pursuing MBBS into a reality.

Celebrity For A Day!
My results were announced on May 14, 2007. My class teacher called me and told me that I had topped the state in board exams. I was ecstatic! I informed my parents and they came to my school. Many media people had also come to my school and they even took my interview.
I have attended over 30 felicitations and received a cash prize of Rs 1.5 lakh. But the best moment after topping the state was getting the opportunity to meet my favourite actor Surya! It is truly the most memorable day of my life.
Future Goals
I wish to become a doctor and specialise in gynecology. I want to serve people as I believe service to mankind is service to God.
Top(per) Mantras
For those who aim for a state rank, it is important that you focus on English and other language subjects. Also, you should give importance to the presentation of answers and your handwriting. I would suggest that wherever possible, use bullet points in answers and underline the main points as well.
