SABARIMALA: The customary procession carrying  the thiruvabharanam, the attire in gold to be adorned on the idol of Lord Ayyappa on the Makaravilakku day, would set of its journey from Pandalam Valiyakoickal Sree Dharma Sastha Temple on January 13.The three-day procession carrying the  Thiruvabharanam would leave the Pandalam Temple at 1 p m after seeing the ‘krishnaparunthu’ on the sky.A 20-member Devaswom team headed by Aranmula Devaswom Commissioner T P Sreekumar and special officer Ajitkumar would be incharge of the Thiruvabharanam procession up to Sabarimala.The armed police personnel from the Pathanamthitta AR camp would provide protection on the entire route of the procession.In front of the Sreekovil, Thantri Maheswararu and Melsanthi N Balamurali would receive the thiruvabharanam and deeparadhana would be conducted after adorning thiruvabharanam on the idol of Lord Ayyappa at 6.40 pm.
