Techies thrash metal band to release album
The album, Violent redemption, which has corruption as its theme, portrays the life journey of an extravagant youth

‘Game’, the video of Thrash Metal band ‘Chaos’, is getting more and more popular. Nearly a month after its YouTube release, the album has seen more than 4,000 views and scores of comments. Interestingly, techies are the most involved in downloading the audio as well as video track.

A renowned South Indian band, ‘Chaos’ has three out of its four members from Technopark. Lead singer Jayakrishnan aka JK, Kishore (drums), Nikhil (guitar) and Shyam (bass guitar) of the band are waiting for the October release of their first album ‘Violent redemption.’

Interestingly, ‘Game’ is directed by employees of Technopark-based RMESI. Kiran N S and Aabid A are behind the concept and visualisation of the album, which has corruption as its theme.

Kiran is the brother of band member Kishore. “I decided to lend a hand when I heard of their plan to make an album. In tune with the theme, I, along with my friends Subin and Aabid, worked out the concept,” said Kiran, who is also the winner of the best director award for his short film ‘The Appointment’ at the Qisa short film festival recently held at Technopark.

The album portrays the life journey of an extravagant youth. The lead actor Kuleen, too, is an employee of Technopark.

“The album will have two video tracks and eight audio tracks. After ‘Game’, an animation video is getting ready for another song ‘Backlash.’ We are planning to release the album at a gala event in October,” said JK.

‘Chaos’, which has conducted around 80 live shows all over South India, is all set for a breakthrough with the release of the album.
