BANGALORE: Minister for Energy Shobha Kharandlaje said that the demand for electricity is increasing every year and engineers should take it as challenge.Speaking after releasing ‘Technical Diary-2012’ organised by Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) Diploma Engineers Association, Shobha said that there is a huge demand for electricity. “In order to supply, the KPTCL is trying to generate more electricity. This will bring stress on engineers. Engineers should take it as challenge,” she said.Referring to the demands of the engineers, she assured they will be fulfilled. Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) Managing Director P Ravi Kumar was present on the occasion.
