Local residents rushed him to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital, and he was discharged in the afternoon.The simian’s other victim, Madukkarai-resident Pappathi, suffered minor injuries on her legs, sources said.Forest officials said they came close to capturing the animal on Friday. “We placed the cage trap in the morning itself after learning about the incident.
