Soldier's wife found murdered in Delhi

The 24-year-old wife of an army non-commissioned officer (NCO) was found stabbed to death in her house in Delhi on Tuesday, police said.

Saujanya had several deep wounds on her body and her throat had been slit. Her husband Kishore discovered her body in a pool of blood at their home in Sarojini Nagar area of south Delhi when he returned home from work and informed police.

Robbery was not a motive as nothing appeared missing, police said, adding that there were no signs of a forced entry into the house.

"The front door was bolted while the rear door was open," said a police officer.
