New Delhi: For Siddharth Malhotra, who shot to fame with Karan Johar's 'Student of the Year', days spent in Delhi University was all about having fun, and experiencing college life in a way which majority of the students long for. That's why aiming for admission in the most popular colleges such as St. Stephen's and Hindu College found no mention in his 'To-Do List'.
"I was very bad at studies. And I didn't get the kind of marks which could have helped me get admission in St. Stephen's and Hindu College. My mother would have been the happiest parent had I studied at either of these colleges, but it just couldn't happen," he recalls.
For Siddharth, who studied B.Com (Hons) at Bhagat Singh College, DU, the life outside the world of bookkeeping and accountancy was far more appealing and amusing.
"Yes, it is true that I used to roam around Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR) a lot for obvious reasons," he recalls.
With so much time spent outside the premises of one of the top most colleges of India, it is obvious that he didn't miss out on any opportunity to date LSR students. "I have had my share of LSR dating sessions. But I could never manage to sneak into the college, all thanks to its tight security. LSR mei toh sirf padhai karni chahiye, that's the core idea, and I did adhere to that," he laughs.
