Security beefed up in New York subways
In wake of the Moscow attacks, concerns over security in New York subways have come under scanner.

New York: Russia is looking for a suspected link of terror groups in Pakistan and Afghanistan, which might have helped in carrying out the suicide bombings that killed close to 50 people.

Russian state security says two female suicide bombers carried out the attacks as trains pulled into the station. The blasts were timed perfectly to strike during rush hour at the Park Kultury station.

In the wake of the attacks on Moscow's subway on Monday, concerns over security in New York City's subways have come under the scanner.

This after claims that half the security cameras don't work. About half the 4,313 security cameras installed along New York City's subways aren't working.

The issue of operational cameras came to light after two men were stabbed to death on the subway. And there was no camera installed in the station to catch an image of the killer.

What's your reaction?
