HYDERABAD: Ramky Pharma City India Limited chairman A Ayodhya Rami Reddy, accused in YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s alleged illegal assets case, had prepared fake documents and created benami persons pertaining to sub-contract works and land purchase transactions and other s to pump investment into Jagan’s companies, the CBI said.In its third charge sheet filed before the court, the CBI said Ayodhya Rami Reddy obtained wrongful gain of 914 acres in green belt area inside the pharma city of RPCIL at Parvada in Visakhapatnam. ``He converted the said land into plots and sold them, some of them at an exorbitant price. Thereby he obtained wrongful gain of Rs 133.74 crore,’’ the CBI said.In turn, Ayodhya Rami Reddy pumped Rs 10 crore of Ramky Infra and Ramky Estates & Farms into Jagati Publications through TWC and ERES. ``He would not have made the said investment had he not obtained the said wrongful gain,’’ the CBI said.Further, Ayodhya Rami Reddy ensured circuitous mode of investment in Jagati as bribe to escape attention. ``The funds were of Ramky Infra and Ramky Estate only but not of others. In the said process he resorted to creating fake documents/benami persons pertaining to subcontract works/land purchase transactions, etc. The aforesaid facts do not absolve him of his role in the fraud,’’ the CBI said.
