Ragesh Chandra gets posting

PUDUCHERRY: G Ragesh Chandra, Secretary Cooperation, Pondicherry Civil Services officer, who was conferred IAS in November 2011, has now been appointed to the Junior Administrative Grade (JAG) of PCS  from PCS (Selection grade) with the concurrence of UPSC, with effect from October 1, 1997. Now with restrospective effect, he will get all his pending dues. However, there is no hitch in his IAS promotion as any PCS officer who has served for more than eight years is eligible for being conferred IAS.
