There is a different flavour in eating food that’s cooked right in front of your eyes. That’s exactly the experience one can have at the Great Kabab Factory, at hotel New Marrion here in Bhubaneswar that will greet visitors to its Punjabi food festival from August 24 to August 28. The festival guarantees to flood you with the delectable vapours of marinated, grilled and sizzling meats and veggies. A welcome drink on arrival will set the tune of the evening where the guests will be presented with a host of food choices. Soups of many flavours, followed by sizzling kababs will lead you further on to a sumptuous gastronomic journey. One can taste the royal and unique Kaleji ke Tinkey, Machhi Amritsari and Bhatti ka Murgh, the temporal Kadhai Boti, Pathar ka Goosht, charcoal grilled Maas ka Sooley and many more mouth-watering kababs.For veggies, there would be a choice of paneer and subzi whereas for the meat eaters can indulge in prawns, chicken, fish or poultry done in a variety of marinades.The feast reaches a finale with biryanis done in different styles, accompanied by salads, curd, pickles and papads. The sweet finale is a choice from Chenna Payas and Khajur ka Halwa to complete the spectacular food spread.The spread will cost `599 exclusive of taxes per person and it will be the kababs cooked, grilled and sizzled that will catch one’s fancy and heart too. The food festival will be open for dinner only.
