KARAIKAL: Even four years after Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Institute of Engineering and Technology (PKIET), Karaikal, run by the Puducherry Government was inaugurated, it is yet to get permanent buildings.PKIET was established in 2007. It  is now functioning temporarily from the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru College of Agriculture (PAJANCOA) campus at Serumavilangai in Karaikal with student strenght of plus 500.Initially, the government had announced that the college would get permanent buildings within a year. During February last year, the students of the college organised several agitations, but to no avail.
