HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president Botcha Satyanarayana has appealed to all Telangana Congress MPs not to take part in Rail Roko to be organised by the Telangana political Joint Action Committee from October 15 as part of the Sakala Janula Samme.Addressing a press conference here on Friday, he said the AICC leadership and the Congress- led UPA government were holding serious consultations and discussions to sort out the issue of Telangana, and urged the all Telangna MPs to cooperate with the Centre in finding a solution.Instead of squatting on railway tracks here, they should camp in Delhi and take part in the deliberations, he advised them.As for himself, he said he did not have any opinion on the demands for Samaikyandhra and Telangana but said he would obey the high command's decision. The state Congress chief strongly criticised Telugu Desam chief N Chandrababu Naidu on the Telangana issue and challenged him to declare his stance to enable the Centre to resolve the issue at the earliest. The TDP's indecision created political uncertainty in the state, he alleged.Satyanarayana said it was the right time to take a decision in the interest of the state and hoped the Congress leadership would take a decision very shortly."The Congress will a take decision in the interest of the state and without caring for political benefits,'' he claimed. On TRS MLA KT Rama Rao's charge that the chief minister bribed 13 Telangana Congress MLAs, he said that if the TRS MLA had any evidence, then he should make it public. It was not right on the part of an MLA to criticise another MLA for political benefit, he said.Satyanarayana, who is also the transport minister, appealed to Telangana employees to call off their 32-day-old strike and to hold talks with the government. He also appealed to the striking RTC employees to resume duties by respecting the agreement their union reached with the government. He claimed that 40 per cent bus services were being operated in the Hyderabad region and 90 percent in Khamamm, while only one percent services could be operated in the rest of the region. However, he said, all the buses would be run by the RTC in the coming days.
