Pakistan fined for slow over rate
Team members were fined five per cent of their match fees as Pakistan was found to be one over short in the stipulated time.

Multan: Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq was on Tuesday docked 10 per cent of his match fees for the team's slow over rate in the third cricket One-Dayer against India at Lahore.

The other team members were slapped a fine of five per cent of their match fees as Pakistan was found to have bowled one over short in the stipulated time.

The penalties were imposed by ICC Match Referee Chris Broad, a Pakistan Cricket Board official said.

Pakistan lost the third One-Dayer by five wickets at Lahore on Monday to trail India 1-2 in the five-match ODI series.

Though the hosts had set an imposing target of 289 for India but the visitors backed by a superlative batting display by man of the match Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh and Sachin Tendulkar reached the target with over two overs remaining.
