HYDERABAD: One person was hospitalised with minor injuries when the security staff of a cinema house at Nagaram village in Keesara police station limits here on Friday attacked the audience who turned restive on being denied tickets. The incident occurred at Krishna Theatre where Tollywood actor Pavan Kalyan starrer Gabbar Singh was released. Police, however, did not book any case against the management.According to the police, the theatre management sold only a few tickets at the counter and a bulk of the tickets found their way to the black market. The crowd turned restive when the management displayed the `House Full' board. Srinu, who had stood in the queue for more than two hours in the hope of securing a ticket to watch his favourite star's new flick on the first day, was thoroughly disappointed and entered into heated arguments with the counter staff.Keesara inspector Jagan said the crowd accused the theatre management of selling tickets in black while denying tickets to those who stood in the queue. As tempers ran high, the security staff attacked Srinu, the inspector said, adding that no case was registered against the theatre management."We took Krishna, manager of the theatre, into custody and brought him to the station. We warned him against selling tickets in the black," he added.
