Nose Wheel of Private Aircraft Bursts While Landing, All Safe

Chennai: Three passengers and a small crew of a private aircraft had a lucky escape as the nose wheel of the aircraft burst while landing at Chennai Airport, CISF officials said.

However, no passenger was injured in the incident, they said.

The aircraft, which had flown in from Bengaluru, was later towed to a safe area and the runway was cleared, the officials said.

The incident led to some delay in landing of six incoming flights, the officials added.
