The special court for CBI cases on Monday convicted seven persons and sentenced them to four years imprisonment in a case related to causing loss to the All India Radio by airing unauthorised advertisements. The advertisements were aired during 1995-98 without the knowledge of the AIR officials with the help of a news reader, who is also convicted by the court. The court acquitted one person.
