SS Rajamouli and Rama delighted the attendees at the wedding festivities as they danced to the tunes of AR Rahman's Andamaina Premarani.

SS Rajamouli is celebrated for bringing masterpieces like Eega, the Baahubali series and RRR to life. However, glimpses of his lighter side are rare and a recent viral video has left fans excited. In a recent video, the director can be seen letting loose and showed his dancing skills alongside his wife, Rama Rajamouli. The couple delighted the attendees at the wedding festivities of producer Cherry’s daughter as they danced to the tunes of AR Rahman’s Andamaina Premarani from the Telugu film, Premikudu.

For the performance, Rajamouli wore a simple black shirt and blue denims, while his wife looked elegant in a floral saree. Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Rajamouli has showcased his dancing skills, as he previously danced at his son’s wedding and celebrated the global success of RRR by performing the signature steps of Naatu Naatu with director Anil Ravipudi.

Rajamouli and Rama’s love story began on the sets of the television show Shanti Niwasam. During the time, Rama was already married and had a son named Karthikeya. After her divorce, the filmmaker stood by her side and over the years, their bond became stronger. Eventually, the two decided to tie the knot in a simple court ceremony. Today, they are proud parents of a daughter. Interestingly, Rama has played a major role in Rajamouli’s filmmaking journey, as she often design costumes for his blockbuster films.

SS Rajamouli’s latest film, RRR, starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, has garnered immense love from global audiences. Recently, the director attended a screening of the film in Japan. During the event, it was revealed that a 110-year-old Takarazuka company has adapted RRR into a musical. Sharing his experience, Rajamouli took to X to delight fans with numerous snapshots from the meet and greet session. Among the memorable moments was a touching gesture from an 83-year-old Japanese woman, who presented the filmmaker with a gift of 1000 origami cranes.

Sharing he post, the director wrote, “In Japan, they make origami cranes & gift them to their loved ones for good luck & health. This 83 yr old woman made 1000 of them to bless us because RRR made her happy. She just sent the gift and was waiting outside in the cold. Some gestures can never be repaid. Just grateful.”

Following the Oscar win for RRR, SS Rajamouli is busy in the pre-production of his highly awaited upcoming project starring Mahesh Babu, tentatively titled SSMB29. Speculations suggests that the movie will be shot in Africa, drawing inspiration from the novels by Wilbur Smith. As of now, Mahesh Babu is undergoing physical transformation for his role in the movie as the actor is set to play a character inspired by Lord Hanuman.
