SS Rajamouli is celebrated for bringing masterpieces like Eega, the Baahubali series and RRR to life. However, glimpses of his lighter side are rare and a recent viral video has left fans excited. In a recent video, the director can be seen letting loose and showed his dancing skills alongside his wife, Rama Rajamouli. The couple delighted the attendees at the wedding festivities of producer Cherry’s daughter as they danced to the tunes of AR Rahman’s Andamaina Premarani from the Telugu film, Premikudu.
For the performance, Rajamouli wore a simple black shirt and blue denims, while his wife looked elegant in a floral saree. Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Rajamouli has showcased his dancing skills, as he previously danced at his son’s wedding and celebrated the global success of RRR by performing the signature steps of Naatu Naatu with director Anil Ravipudi.
Rajamouli and Rama’s love story began on the sets of the television show Shanti Niwasam. During the time, Rama was already married and had a son named Karthikeya. After her divorce, the filmmaker stood by her side and over the years, their bond became stronger. Eventually, the two decided to tie the knot in a simple court ceremony. Today, they are proud parents of a daughter. Interestingly, Rama has played a major role in Rajamouli’s filmmaking journey, as she often design costumes for his blockbuster films.
