HYDERABAD: SSC students can write their examinations in comfort this year as the directorate of government examinations replaced 200 old examination centres with new ones as part of improving facilities at the centres.The directorate has also put all efforts to improve the facilities like providing better furniture and lighting system at all the examination centres.Speaking to newsmen here on Thursday, director of government examinations (DGE), Banala Manmad Reddy said all arrangements were in place for smooth conduct of SSC examinations scheduled to begin from March 26.Reddy said as many as 12,87,736 candidates would appear for the examination this year including 2.26 lakh private candidate Things candidates have to rememberDos* Reach the exam centre 45 minutesbefore the scheduled time.* Carry pens, pencils, erasers, scale and writing pad.* Verify the OMR sheet before attaching it to the main answer sheet.* Main answer book’s serial number has to be written on additional graph map and objective paperDon’ts* No cell phones and calculators* Except hall ticket no other written material is allowed inside the exam hall* Answer books should not be brought out of the exam hall* Roll number should not be put on main sheet, additional sheets, graphs and map sheets.* Name, signature, any other identification marks and slogans should not be written on the answer books.
