New DG for Navy Service

BANGALORE: Surgeon Vice Admiral KM Suryanarayana, VSM, took over as the Director General Medical Services (Navy) on June 6.An alumnus of the Government Medical College, Mysore, and commissioned in IAF in 1975, the Flag Officer is a post-graduate in Medicine and super-specialist in Endocrinology.In his 36 years of distinguished and meritorious service, he has held various appointments in IAF as well as at the tri-services level, a communique said.
