New Delhi: Social networks like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram definitely tell us about what our friends are up to in their lives, but little do they point out our achievements, which old friends we have lost touch with or are we getting any better at using social networks. But it's also possible now with the help of a new app named "ThinkUp".
Thinkup connects your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or other social networking accounts and tells you what matters about the time you spent there. ThinkUp is said to connect better with your network, and even learn a little bit about yourself. It points out the coolest things about your social networks.
ThinkUp does not try to turn your social network into a popularity contest about the number of followers you have. It does not try to assign some point score to you based on how you talk to your friends.
Here is what all ThinkUp can tell you:
- Did that tweet I sent out make people happy?
- Did people like my old profile pic better than my new one?
- Do my friends like it when I post quotes from famous people?
- Did anybody who's well-known share this?
- Do any of my friends or followers live nearby?
- Do any of my followers work at that company?
- Who are my biggest fans on Facebook or Twitter this week?
- Was anything memorable going on a year ago that is worth sharing?
- Am I talking about myself too much? Should I rein it in a little bit?
- Which old friends have I lost touch with?
- What did I say this week that got the biggest reaction?
- Am I getting any better at using these social networks?
