New Delhi: External Affairs Minister SM Krishna condemned the serial blasts that rocked Mumbai on Wednesday evening calling it a 'heinous' attack. He also said that this was just another reminder that terror is a continuing threat to India.
"The great city of Mumbai was again rocked by terror attacks. This is Another grim reminder to everyone in this country and in the region that terror is a continuing threat to India and that's necessary for all Indians to be vigilant. I condemn this dastardly heinous attack," Krishna said.
He spoke just after meeting the Afghanistan Peace Council Delegation where terror was at the top of the agenda.
Krishna also confirmed that the visit of US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Foreign Minister of Pakistan is on schedule.
The US also ruled out any change in Clinton's itinerary during her visit to India next week due to the serial blasts.
Krishna and his Pakistani counterpart Minister of State for External Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar are expected to meet in New Delhi on July 27 to review progress in the bilateral peace process that was revived earlier this year.
Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao met her Pakistani counterpart Salman Bashir in June to continue the bilateral peace process which began this year.
