India's RAW agency allegedly met MQM leaders in the 1990's.

New Delhi: In a startling revelation, a London based Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) activist said that the outfit's top leadership held secret meetings with India's RAW agency in the mid-1990s in Europe.

Recently surfaced documents suggest that the MQM member reportedly told the British police that the party's leadership held meetings with Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) officials in Rome, Vienna, Zurich, Salzburg and Prague and even sought 1.5 million dollars in assistance.

MQM is a secular political party in Pakistan mainly representing Urdu-speaking Mohajirs and has been blamed for various criminal activities in Pakistan.
