The Mizo National front announced that it has decided to break its coalition with BJP-led National Democratic Alliance.
New Delhi: The Mizo National front (MNF) on Sunday announced that it has decided to break its coalition with BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
News agency PTI quoted MNF secretary K Lalthawmmawia as saying that the decision was made in party's national executive committee meeting, chaired by Chief Minister and party supremo Zoramthanga, in Aizawal on Saturday.
He also stated that the party's MPs, Vanlalzawma in the Lok Sabha and Lalhmingliana in the Rajya Sabha, would join the Independent and extend issue-based support to either NDA or UPA.
Sources say, the MNF legislature party would arrange separate seats in both the Houses after the party informs its decision to Parliament.
