Often, we come across several talented individuals around us, of which, many are children exhibiting incredible talents at a young age. In the same scenario, a two-year-old girl left everyone in awe.
This young wonder, named Riona Makur, is a resident of Bankura. Riona can sing the National Anthem with ease and recite 18 lines of poetry from memory. Moreover, she has memorized around 50–60 poems and can identify different body parts. Riona Makur is the child of Vidyut Makur and Mallika Makur, residents of Makurgram village.
At an age when complex tasks are difficult for children, Riona can learn such things. Her father is a businessman, owning an electronics shop. Everyone is surprised by the memory and intelligence shown by this little girl.
Riona’s father, Vidyut Makur, attributes her exceptional abilities to her mother’s guidance and says that she learned everything from her mother. Mallika Makur, the mother of this 2-year-old said that she can learn everything very easily. She said, “Riona can remember everything very easily. She learned the National Anthem and poetry one by one.”
Despite her remarkable talent, Riona’s parents do not want to put extra pressure on her. They believe in letting her grow and develop at her own pace, with the mindset that “girls will do what they want.”
There are thousands of amenities in urban areas and many ways to stimulate children’s memory. But, this kid from a small village of Bankura proved that true genius does not wait for time, place, technology or age.
What’s even more remarkable is that Riona achieved this without any special training. This young wonder kid from a rural area of Bankura has proven that with dedication anything is possible. The story of the little kid serves as an inspiration to many. Her exceptional memory and intelligence have made her a sensation.
