Meerut: Flower vendor stabbed to death by neighbour

A flower vendor was stabbed to death by a youth in Sardhana area here, police said on Monday.

26-year-old Shah Alam, who sold flowers at Shekhan locality, was attacked on Sunday evening by another youth of the same locality following a dispute, a police spokesperson said.

Alam succumbed to his wounds on the way to hospital, they said.

A case has been registered against the accused youth who is absconding, police said, adding that efforts are on to arrest him.
