Malayalam star Mammootty seems to be giving his priority dates to start those films which feature him in down to earth characters, one after the another.
The trend which started with the film 'Bavootiyude Namathil' is aptly followed by 'Immanuel' which will hit the theatres by April 5. The actor is currently completing his 'Kunjananthe Kada' directed by national Award Winner Salim Ahamed and Renjith's 'German returns'. And after the movie, it is learned that his next will be 'Daivathinte Swantham Cletus. Expected to start by June, the film is directed by debutante Marthandan.
Mammootty appear as a theatre artist named 'Cleetus' in this movie which narrates a story that takes place inside the theatre. Scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam, the movie is produced by Faizal under the banner of Achappu Movie Magic. The megastar has got still more similar interesting characters in films that will come up soon like 'Balyakalasakhy' and 'Mathilukalkkappuram'.
