Bangalore: The police claim to have cracked the murder case of Infosys BPO employee, 26-year-old Umesh Krishnan.

They now claim that he was suffocated to death after an alleged robbery attempt at his home over a month ago. Only it was not a robbery, but a love triangle that proved fatal.

Krishnan was found murdered over a month ago in his home in Banaswadi. The incident had shocked the Bangalore suburb.

The Bangalore police have now arrested his wife Honey Mary, who allegedly plotted the murder with her former lover Muthukumaran.

Police commissioner Shankar Bidari said, "Muthukumaran conspired to eliminated Umesh Krishna and thereafter go to the USA and lead a happy life."

Police have also arrested Bipin Kumar Singh, an engineer from Jharkhand who was part of the six member gang involved, which includes a journalist from Jharkhand.

Police say Honey Mary had been in love with Muthukumaran for more than 2 years, but was forced by her parents to marry Umesh Krishnan.

Umesh was also against it, but bowed to his parents wishes - in the end, paying with his life.
