THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A Lokayukta Bench probing into the irregularities in the recruitment of Assistant Grade II to the Kerala University completed the evidence collection in the case on Thursday after the last two key witnesses appeared before the legal forum and deposed their statements. The witnesses were Sreenivasa Rao and Bhani Krishna, the owner and manager respectively of the press where the OMR sheets of the recruitment test were printed. Both of them said that the OMR sheets, which were sent to them for evaluation after the test, were despatched to the Kerala University authorities in 2005 itself without any delay after evaluation and they had claimed the full contract amount then itself. With this, the Lokayukta has recorded the statements of 25 witnesses, five from the complainants part and 20 from the respondents side. The Lokayukta Bench would hear the arguments on November 30. The verdict of the case would be passed soon after the hearing as there exists a High Court ultimatum to dispose of the case before December 15.
