KSTA dharna withdrawn

THIRUVANANATHAPURAM: The indefinite dharna staged by the Kerala School Teachers Association in front of the Higher Secondary Directorate has been withdrawn following an accord reached at a meeting between the agitators and General Education secretary M Sivasankar.The meeting was called under the direction of Education Minister P K Abdu Rabb, said a release issued by KSTA here on Thursday.The main assurances given to the agitators are: To consider increasing the number of casual leaves of higher secondary teachers to 20, to allot principal post as an additional post, to solve the issue regarding the salary scale of GFC teachers after considering the recommendation of the House panel etc
