Knee replacement: Seminar ends

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The three-day seminar and workshop on latest innovations in knee replacement surgery organised as part of World Arthritis day by KIMS Hospital, Trivandrum Ortho Club and Kerala Orthopaedics Association, concluded at KIMS Hospital on Monday. Knee replacement surgery aims to improve the quality of life in the elderly who suffer from chronic knee pains, said Luca Marega, knee replacement surgeon from Italy, who participated in the seminar.Knee replacement surgeons from different parts of the country attended the seminar, which saw 28 papers on various innovative aspects of the surgery being presented. The recent advances in knee replacements were discussed in detail at the seminar.
