Kejriwal's aide Somnath Bharti thrashed by BJP men in Varanasi during a TV show

According to latest reports, some BJP supporters on Wednesday brutally thrashed AAP leader and Arvind Kejriwal's aide Somnath Bharti during a show of a news channel. The incident took place at Varanasi.

Somnath Bharti's car and his driver were also attacked, initial reports said.

Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday had filed his nomination papers from the Varanasi Lok Sabha seat.
