Judicial panel submits report on Sachan's death
The CJM's report in a sealed cover would be submitted to the high court on Tuesday, the sources said.

Lucknow: A one-man judicial panel on Monday submitted its report into the mysterious death of Uttar Pradesh deputy Chief Medical Officer YS Sachan in jail on June 22.

Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lucknow, Rajesh Upadhayay submitted his report to the Sessions Judge Lucknow, District Magistrate and SSP, Lucknow, court sources said.

There was no official word on whether the judicial probe report concluded that Sachan, main accused in the killing of Chief Medical Officer, Lucknow, BP Singh, in April, was murdered.

Sachan was found dead in his prison cell. On a PIL seeking a CBI probe into the mysterious death of Dr Sachan, the Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court had sought the status report of the judicial probe from the CJM.

The CJM's report in a sealed cover would be submitted to the high court on Tuesday, the sources said.
