Energy Minister Rajendra Prasad Singh on Wednesday ruled out any increase in electricity tariff despite the monthly loss of the Jharkhand State Electricity Board (JSEB) pegged at Rs 150 crore.
Earlier the loss was Rs 165 crore but there will not be any increase in the electricity tariff, Singh told the media when asked whether there was any move to increase the tariff. Replying to a query on the functioning of the Hemant Soren-led coalition government in the state, Singh said it would complete its term.
He said AICC General Secretary and incharge of party s Jharkhand affairs, B K Hariprasad, would have a meeting with all the five Congress ministers on November 29 in Ranchi.
