The super success of Indra Kumar's 'Grand Masti' is expected to start a new trend of adult comedies in Bollywood.
New Delhi: It seems the Indian film enthusiasts don't attach much importance to a film's reviews. The latest example to prove this is the super success of director Indra Kumar's adult comedy 'Grand Masti'. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweets, "#GrandMasti Week 1: ₹ 66.10 cr. Week 2: Fri ₹ 3.40 cr, Sat ₹ 4 cr+. Total: ₹ 73.50 cr."
The film stars Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani in the lead roles, and it's a sequel to 2004 film 'Masti'.
Shahid Kapoor's latest venture 'Phata Poster Nikhla Hero' is proceeding at a slow rate. Adarsh tweets, "#PPNH Fri ₹ 6 cr, Sat ₹ 7 cr. Total: ₹ 13 cr nett."
