Vijay visited the kitchen and the mortuary at ICH, giving instructions for clean up. Accompanied by Dr V Kanagasabai, dean of MMC to which ICH is attached, the minister reprimanded hospital authority for hoarding tubelights without installing. Having served as a government orthopedician, the minister wanted to inspect the ortho ward. When he arrived there, apparently no duty doctor was around, and nobody could tell why there was nobody in charge of children.
