BHUBANESWAR: A woman executive officer of a steel company having office in Fortune Towers, had an harrowing experience on Tuesday. She was caught inside the lift of the building, along with seven others, due to technical glitch.The lift carrying eight persons got stuck between the first and second floors of the building due to some technical problem. The woman in the advanced stage of pregnancy fainted inside the lift due to suffocation. The incident occurred at about 9.45 am.All the office-goers were rescued by breaking open the glass of the lift. The lady officer was taken to the ESI hospital in a serious condition. Later she was shifted to Kalinga Hospital where she recovered after two hours of treatment.Her condition is stated to be stable.
