New Delhi: Insensitivity in the capital towards women continues as a Gurgaon hospital turned away a 13-year old rape victim. The teenager was also refused treatment at Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital due to bureaucratic hurdles.
Her family clams that she was finally admitted to Safdarjung Hospital after much persuasion and harassment. Doctors claim that the girl is 16-weeks pregnant and is now stable.
A case has already been registered at the Gurgaon Sector-10 police station and one of the three accused has been arrested.
