New Delhi: With the recent spate of compliments that the three Khans have been showering on each other one can't help wonder if all is well between the rivals. Shah Rukh Khan in a recent interview stated that Aamir Khan is the best actor of present times, Salman stated on 'Koffee With Karan' that no one can romance the way SRK does on screen and Aamir stated that Salman is a bigger star than him.

But when you think about it, when have stars really publicly lashed out at their rivals? They may be hating the fact that a rival is racing ahead with back-to-back hits, but they will always be politically correct in front of the media when questioned.

From confirming or denying relationships to criticizing co-actors, there are certain cliches that our Bollywood stars abide by.

What they mean: We are sleeping with each other

What they say: I share a cordial relationship with all my colleagues

What they mean: I can't stand them.

What they say: I am in no hurry to sign a film. I will weigh my options

What they mean: No one has offered me a film

What they say: He is the best actor we have in the industry today

What they mean: He knows nothing about acting. He is overrated

What they say: I get along with male co-actors more than female actors

What they mean: I am too insecure to go and be friends with actresses

What they say: XYZ is underrated.

What they mean: He/she has no calibre to work with me.

What they say: Awards don't mean anything to me.

What they mean: Why the hell my films are not becoming commercially successful!

What they say: I don't mind a small but meaty role.

What they mean: Give me some item numbers.

What they say: Sometimes it becomes difficult for outsiders in the industry.

What they mean: Shah Rukh Khan, please help me.

What they say: My role in the film is very different

What they mean: No one is offering me anything new. I am stuck with the same roles

What they mean: Had I not been a star kid, you would not have been interviewing me
